I enjoyed going to the football & basketball games.
But art class with Mr. Isabell was the highlight of school for me. He came our senior year and I wish I could have taken classes from him longer, I not only learned different painting techniques but he shared his "do the best that "you" can do and don't compare what you do with others" attitude. Which I have tried to live by and sometimes I have to remind myself of this.

Graduated from Ferris with a degree oin Commercial Art.

One of the most "exciting" high lights of working at Chemical Bank in Adamsville (Edwardsburg, MI) was when there was an attempted robbery using a bomb! I actually drew the composite drawing of the robber, which they apprehended within 12 hours.

Meeting and getting married to my best friend. I couldn't ask for a better person to be married too. Having three wonderful step children and the joy of two grand-daughters.

I feel blessed to have the closeness of family and friends.

I am the president of the Edwardsburg Lioness Club, Treasurer of the Uptown Improvement Association (Downtown Development) and recently have been appointed to the board of directors of the Edwardsburg Chamber of Commerce.

Edwardsburg is not that far from Niles and I still get back often. I have cousins and Aunts that still live in Niles.

None that I want to know about.

Lynn and I enjoy bicycle riding, we like to do several bike rides in the area. We are both certified scuba divers, but since I had to have my left rotator cuff repaired I have not been diving. I also enjoy painting, just started up with oils again and realized how much I missed it. I also make all my cards, sew, quiltand play the mountain dulcimer.

Lynn and I just bought 4 acres and we are researching building an underground house. Right now we are looking into a monolithic dome to bury or berm. We would like to be totally off grid. At least it is our dream for retirement and as fast as 2009 has gone retirement is not that far off!!!

I have really enjoyed this web site to see who and what everybody is up too! I have the nick name of Gladys Kravitz (BEWITCHED) for a good reason.
