TQ could run like the wind, and then spin when you tried to tackle him.  Now you can hang out with Tom on the Nightshift.  You've found another home, I know you're not alone.

This is very sad to hear of Terry's passing.  We were all very good friends in high school.  My condolences to his children and family.

Terry was a good friend...a great teammate on the basketball floor.  The Daily Star once described Terry as having "...springs for legs." because he could jump so high.  I was 6'7" in high school and I'm pretty certain that Terry could still out jump me.  RIP my friend.

T.Q. was our buddy!  At a time of racial discord in our country, he saw no color.  Terry just saw his athletic buddies, and we were buddies for life. The only name he ever called me was "Bender", and when he called that out, he always had that infectious smile on his face.  My father felt T.Q. was one of his all-time best athletes. I hated playing against him and was so thankful once Ballard & Lardner combined.  We miss you dearly T.Q.  Have a drink with Cal.  Just keep a tab running for the Class of 74.

I am very sad to hear about Terry's passing. Eventhough we lost touch over the years, I still kept fresh the memories of the time we had as being friends. I first met Terry when he was still living in Brandywine, and we became close while we both was at jr high through 11th grade. I will miss him, and I will feel a since of deep lost he was a inspiration to alot of people. My sympathy goes out to family and friends.

TQ was one of a kind.  I'll second Dave and Bennie's comments about Terry's athletic abilities.  After playing football and basketball with him since 9th grade, I've seen him do some amazing things.  I'll also second the comments about his smile, his good nature and easy going manner. I won't detail it in this forum (ahem!) but we had some good times outside of school and off the court too.  Like Bennie said, tell Cal to scoot over and save me a space on that bench.

Most of what I saw of Terry was from the scorer's table at floor level on a basketball court.  And in general there was a significant amount of air between Mother Earth and Terry Quinn!  I was looking up at him then and I'm looking up to him now, because he gave me some great memories.  Thank you, TQ.

TQ's infectious smile simply went with the positive attitude and approach to people ... all people!  TQ had the ability to inspire people with his positive approach, it was just his nature!!  And I will always remember how FAST TQ was ... like lightening in a bottle. Hey Cal and TQ, belly up but close the door, your bench is full for a while! Keep smiling TQ ... Buns
