Niles High School
Class of 1974

Here is a list of the planned activities for our reunion weekend in Niles:

Friday August 2nd:  Golf at Orchard Hills County Club.  Tee times are 10:00-10:30. Cost is $75.00 per person which includes the cart.  More details will follow to sign up.

Friday August 2nd: 'Meet and Greet' at Joey Armadillo's.  The address is 2732 S. 11th Street, Niles.  Cost is $5.00 per person to cover food.   We will be meeting out on the patio.  Note:  Be aware of considerable road construction along 11th Street. 

Pickleball: Steve Bender has graciously reserved the new pickleball courts located at Plym Park on both Friday, August 2nd and Saturday, August 3rd from noon-3 p.m. No need to RSVP- just show up to play.  Paddles and pickleballs will be provided.  Here is a link to the rules:  https://www.pickleheads.com/guides/how-to-play-pickleball. 

High School tour:  There is a tour of the high school scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 3rd.  Just meet up in the main student parking lot east of the school.

Saturday, August 3rd:  Our 50th class reunion at the Orchard Hills Country Club with dinner and dancing is finally here.  The dress code is casual!  It will be epic so do not miss it!   Virtual ticket sales are available now.  Just click on the 50th class reunion virtual ticket sale link on the left navigation bar and follow the prompts.  Cost is $45.00 per person.   Ticket sales will end July 15, 2024 as the catering bill requires full payment prior to our event.  Don't wait.  

Hotel information:  

  1. Inn at Saint Mary’s.  There is a 20-count block of rooms at a rate of $99.00 plus applicable taxes.  You must call them direct at #574-232-4000 and tell them you are with the Niles High Class of 1974 reunion to get this price.  They are located at 53993 State Rd. 933, South Bend, Indiana.  The cutoff date to reserve is July 2, 2024. 
  2. Holiday Inn Express.  Prices were reduced by $20 as of 3/4/24:  There is a block of 5 king standard rooms at $135 plus applicable tax, 5 Queen standard rooms at $145 plus taxes and you can request a Queen Suite at $179.00 plus tax.  You must call them direct at #269-684-0300 and tell them you are with the Niles High Class of 1974 to get these rates.  Their address is 1000 Moore Drive, Niles, Michigan.  Cutoff to reserve is July 1, 2024.
  3. Hampton Inn.  Standard rates apply here.  Their address is 1446 South 11th Street, Niles, Michigan.  Phone #269-684-1446.
