What are your favorite memories of NHS?

Watching Bill Weaver break the single game scoring record for the varsity basketball team. He was "lights out" that night...it was amazing!

High points of your life since high school?

Fathering 2 great kids...marrying my second wife, Sheila, and aquiring the greatest dog a guy could ever have..."Griffey"!

How often do you get back to Niles, MI?

I haven't been back in at least 15 - 20 years though I do get to the St. Joe / Benton Harbor area a couple of times a year to do some fishing.

Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who?

None of the above...

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Play golf and fish. I travel to Lake Michigan a couple of times a year with my boat to fish for salmon and to Lake Erie several times to walleye fish. There's a trout stream on my way to work that I stop at frequantly for browns and rainbows.

Happy early birthday Dave!
I hope just b/c you live in that ‘state down south’ that you haven’t become some kind of nut or BuckEye! Perhaps your daughter is able to prevent that. I was born down there (Akron) but I got over it after we moved back to Michigan at age 1.5. Should be a BIG victory (3rd in a row!) for M next Saturday. My sold tickets paid for a whole season! I’d love to be there, but will enjoy it fine on TV. Hope to see you at next year’s reunion. I wonder if Uncle Joe Yomtoob is still around? Looks li time to update your picture. Yeah, me too. we’re all aging.

Happy birthday, Dave. While its been quite awhile - it sure doesn't seem like 40 years could have passed. I'll always remember Algebra & Geometry with Mr.(Dr) Yomtoob. Good times and I think we learned something, too. (Something about camels?) May this be a great year for you.

Daughter Dawn with husband Darren...married this last summer. Dawn's a vascular surgeon in Michigan...Darren's a vascular surgeon's husband...what a great job!!!

I'm coaching 6th Grade Girls Select Basketball...it's a blast and it keeps me in the gym a few more years! This is a picture of our team last year...5th grade. I'm the coach on the right...my assistant coach Jeff Seitz is on the left.

I still love fishing and get back to Michigan once or twice every year, with my boat, to try my hand at some salmon fishing.
