Don Nugent

Steve, u can grab the pole and the rest of us will give u a spin. If u lose yer grip u can use your black belt to hold on

04/02/09 06:36 PM #1110

Dick Crocker

Steve won't need his black belt to hold on-he has Kung Fu grip!

04/02/09 07:17 PM #1111

Don Nugent

Dick, good to see u on here. Got any idea what happened to the bevo ??

04/02/09 07:28 PM #1112

Dick Crocker

Haven't talked to him in over a year (or more). I assume he is still on Cass St. and working at Sears.

How about Jim Taylor? Didn't he move to Colorado too?

04/02/09 07:32 PM #1113

Jim Lanier

Nuge, you shouldn't tell Steve he can grab his pole.
I've been in touch with Bevo, I'll try to get a ruling on bringing him to the reunion.
How 'bout it folks? Class of 75'ers? Would they have to pay more for a ticket?

04/02/09 07:35 PM #1114

Don Nugent

Jim lives in a little town north of Denver called Berthoud. I saw him about a year ago when a group of "Biker Trash" came out from Niles and we all met up in Fort Collins. Did u see that Bruce has his profile filled out? I talked to Bruce just before x-mas last year after he sent me a card. He was asking about u, and until this site was up I had no idea where u were.

04/02/09 07:36 PM #1115

Don Nugent

Jim, is the Beav still in Niles ?
p.s. I said "The Pole"

04/02/09 07:50 PM #1116

Jim Lanier

Yep, Bevo is still holding down the hot corner in Niles. One more reason to attend the reunion! We'll get him to sing for us.
Steve might use his karate on that pole...

04/02/09 08:06 PM #1117

Tom Houseman

I have nothing, and want nothing, to do with the "pole".

04/02/09 08:11 PM #1118

Susan Botts (Flowers--Class Of '75)

who is beve or bevo? Hey who on this site likes the movie Flash Dance? Cheryl and I love it and think more of you do too. Ok, I propose the following contests at the reunion. 1. Those married the longest 2. those married the shortest (not in height in time) 3. who has the most kids 4. who has a piece of clothing they wore in high school 5. who traveled the farthest to attend the reunion 6. who was the class clown then and who is it now? 7. who as a man has the longest hair now 8. who as a women has the shortest hair now. 9. who has the most unique job. 10. who blogged the most

04/02/09 08:21 PM #1119

Vance Allen

Susan, you might want to expand number 4 to read:

4. who has a piece of clothing they wore in high school AND CAN STILL FIT INTO THE CLOTHING

Not me!

Hey since I'm not allowed to disclose who wanted the Flash Dance dedication, I'm going to change the dedication to both Susan & Cheryl.

04/02/09 08:21 PM #1120

Cheryl Frame (Malinowski)

I am married to a "pole" ... does that count?

It has been hysterical catching up on everyone's comments/ditties. Hope I'm not to late for this one:

There once was a hottie named Ken,
For Barbie he had quite a yen;
He buffed his own beanie,
And lost his ol' weenie,
Now Barbie thinks Ken likes men.

04/02/09 09:41 PM #1126

Vance Allen

Suzi, that's really funny! LOL

Steve-It's never to late to dance on a pole! Even at our age. Don how about you and Jim lead Steve to the correct way to pole dance? If you need the proper and correct way ask Vance to research it for you, he might even find a video for you guys to watch and study. Vance how about if all your women friends here buy you lots and lots of long islands, then you can show the guys the proper and political way to pole dance???? As for us girls, if we drink enough and for most of us women that should'nt be a problem, we might be swayed into maybe doing a short dance or too. If memory is some what clear to me, I think I might have pole danced a time or two after tail gating all day and celebrating a Notre Dame victory at the famous Linebacker bar which is right off campus!! After many many a drink~~~!! I think I might have seen Pam and Cheryl there shimming the golden pole in the middle of the dance floor???!!!!

Stephanie Sirovica (Hessey)

Kat- Just thinkin you might want to bring some of your creative dresses that you posted today just in case anyone needs them!! I bet they would have been used in many ways at our old prom days!!! Tee Hee but not by us!!!

Susan Botts (Flowers--Class Of '75)

Hey Holloway - yes I am going to create a site like this for my class, I have been consulting with Wendy. Glad you like the poem, I have written many over the years. Yes TV anchor was once a dream, I even have a demo take I created but never sent. Yep I love being creative and the brain works well until I have to do something mechanical like put something together, the parts never match up and too many left over. you are a funny girl. It has been suggested I be adopted into your class since I am the mascot for your class. and yes I walk with a limp, how did you know!!! lol

OH, and great news, I received my stimulus money today, my paycheck was actually .01 more!! I am serious.

Attention...attention....Worvey and Messner fight in the gym!!!! All you Bulldogs remember that being hollered in the hall just before first period? heh heh heh, what a group of disappointed kids in the gym that day!! I was late to science class and was excused because I told the truth when asked why I was late. A girl in my class was upset that I didn't get into trouble and asked the teacher (name escapes me, he had a pock mark face) why and he told her because I had told the truth or at least something believable.

HI Guys

I've been working nights for the past several days and still have 9 more to do, So I miss out on this forum. I was just trying to catch up on things and, WOW! Miss one day and your lost.
Tom: Your right Vance should be the one in charge of the pole dancing. He seems to have a "leg" up on all the current information.

Steph: I cant speak for Cheryl, but unless you were at Ann Arbor at the "Big House" dancing, that wasn't me.
M- GO BLUE!
