The Ghetto is from Mr. Helms math class. That's what he always called us boys in the corner causing trouble.

Miss you all. Sorry...very busy! Steve reminded me that I hadn't been out here...thanks Steve! I'll catch up this weekend. In the meantime, check this out...it was played during a Black Belt Process Improvement Management Course I've been involved in. I cracked up watching it and watched it several more times since then showing it to other people. I'm sure I had seen it when it came out (Saturday Night Live) and just forgot about it. Of course age can make almost anything seem funny. Check it out for yourselves:

It's called A Caper About Copper Clappers.

TH: was that Calculus?

I don't remember the GHETTO bit...must've been in my own world?

SB: So... "severed" is the new "f" word (FIRED....come on, folks!) who dreamed up the 'cool' way to say buzz off? :)
Are you applying for poet laureate?

You and JL will have to have a 'write-off'...

Sharon, are you saying I can write Sue off on my taxes? I haven't quite finished them yet, a little problem with TurboTax not sending the update, and Turbotax being worthless.
Anyway, did I share my new names for new Starbucks drinks?
How about a nice Carmel Commodiotto??
A vente spleen?
A grande evaccuatto?? That'll get you going in the morning.
A tall brown sludge?
Or my favorite-- a urinsampliatto! Make mine a grande!

Sharon - Not sure which math class that was with Helms - I just remember Newt, myself, Mike Southworth, Bill Tschida (?) and a few others were "the Ghetto". I mean Newsted even had t-shirts printed up for us.

Steve M - Linsay Boxer would kick your a--, but you might put up somewhat of a battle with your black belt but eventually you'd fall. Yes - Angie does have a deep voice - and that is just one of the attractive things about her. I hope Jason knows how lucky he is.

Steve Merica

You were in total action Nug, but I'll stand behind you and say you were in temp-insanity!! ( that night drove you crazy)! First of all there were 3 leaves and the pin through them kept me at bay!

05/06/09 08:01 PM #1821

Don Nugent

Someone once said "for every action there is an equal positive or negative re-action"...Isaac Newton er Albert Einstien...??? One of the school "marms" will probably correct me on this

05/06/09 08:02 PM #1822

It's funny how action in the present day can't even come close to action in the old days...

05/06/09 08:50 PM #1832

Cheryl Frame (Malinowski)

Sorry Linda, I don't say those naughty words;)
Yes Nugie, you are correct! That would be Newton's 3rd law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. You get an A+!!
