How 'bout them red wings, Deb

05/30/09 11:12 PM #2436

Suzi Jasper

Eek, Don! I didn't mean post them-there skin pics for ME! Just show our "he-men" biker classmates just what happens out there! Maybe they'll drool so much that they won't have to keep running back and forth to Lake Michigan to keep the sand malleable!

One year I drove out to Montana with my great-aunt who lived out there at the time. Silly us didn't realize it was "bike time" in Sturgis, and stopped at Wall Drug. Cuz that's the thing to DO. I think that was a "mild" insight of what really happens down the road a-ways!! I had a Lincoln at the time, and didn't know where to park for fear of toppling over 10 million bikes, like Pee-Wee Herman did in his movie!

Sorry Deb, I've been in the south for a lONG time... I know a lot about baseball now. I am really looking fwd to having cocktails with ya. I like dirty martinis.

Sooo... there is a stinkin' spy on sssst!?!?!?! Hmmm.

Pam... Hand cuffs are a great idea, as long as you don't lose the key... Or maybe...

Regarding Bribes, other than $$ what would the Housman's like? Do you need your yard mowed? How about your house painted... Maid service for a month? Other than pricey how was your vacation ?

S.M. Have we ever agreed on anything?

SS- did you say Martinis??? ...as in extra dirty with 2 olives??? I think that's what I will have for breakfast-yum! Olives are health food, right?

05/31/09 09:50 AM #2439

Sue-Sue Baird (Conlyn)

Why yes, C.F.M, olives count as a veggie.
So does the Celery, in Bloody Marys, Not to mention the tomato juice...

Sue-Sue- I think we agreed to have fun! Right?

Cheryl Frame (Malinowski)

That's what I always thought but I was just wanted to check with someone else. Sometimes I have the tendency to make up my own rules to serve my own purposes. Sooo, now that we have that clarification: Bloody Mary's and Dirty Martinis can now be added to the "Breakfast of Champions"

SS....just given you grief on the Red Wings. I do realize not everyone keeps up on the Michigan teams.

Nugie.....How 'bout those Old guys!! Looked pretty darn good lastnight. Love that boy Helm....fast on the ice.

Yes, I do believe there are several "Breakfast" drinks that count as one of the main food groups.

Ma-moesa, Bloody-marys and Martini's too.

Sue Sue - Margie says maid service! Housework always seems to get ignored here in Yukon - not any fault of hers - I never seem to make too much effort to assist. The trip to Europe was wonderful. Germany, and the Alps area, are almost as pretty as the Rockies in Colorado (Take it easy Nugie - I said ALMOST) What the Alps have going for them is the quaint little mountain villages with beer gardens all over the place.

they are beautiful, aren't they...the swiss alps are gorgeous and little towns are the cleanest I have ever seen!

Hi Everyone!! To those of you at the meeting last night, great to see all of you again. SueEllen-Thank you for a great evening and kudo's to the "Hostess with the Mostess!! I just ran this idea past Wendy and she thought it was a good idea and she approved of it and suggested that I run it past all you. I was thinking that maybe we could do a bake sale here in Niles at the Martin's store sometime before August and raise a little extra cash for our August time of our lives. I did'nt know if the one's of us that live here would like to contribute some baked goodies and maybe just do a quick couple of hours and see how we do?? I will check with Martins and see what the rules are and if it is alright if anyone is interested. Let me know what you think.

I think the SBS put on a bake sale in nineteen hunert & seventy-four! As I recall, we featured faux marijuana cupcakes (green, with coconut) and some rum brownies (in our enthusiasm, the rum was added prior to baking, and all the liquor cooked out, apparently. But we leaaaarned from our mistakes, just like high school! I mean we learned from our mistakes in high school, not that high school was a mistake that we learned from. Not that people who saw high school as a mistake didn't learn from it. And, of course, people who learned from it, although they didn't think it was a mistake) and several other hilarious highjinx, or should I say, faux highjinx?

Hey, my Mom and I still bake ALOT!! Let me know what weekend you are thinking about for the Bake Sale, even if we can't be there to stay and work, I can contribute (no not spiked browies Nugie)...to the cause.
