Tom Carter

Thomas Carter, passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 70. Born in 1955 to Jane and Edward Carter, Tom grew up in Niles, Michigan, and was a proud graduate of Niles High School, Class of 1974.

Tom's heart always belonged to Diamond Lake in Cassopolis, Michigan, where he spent nearly every summer of his life on Diamond Island. It was there that he built many friendships-some of which became family-and created some of his happiest memories. In his teens and twenties, he could often be found water skiing across the lake, and in later years, he loved nothing more than boating with his family, soaking in the beauty and joy of being on the water.

A lifelong car enthusiast, Tom had a particular passion for MGA British Racing cars, restoring them and showing them with care and pride.

After a long journey with Multiple Sclerosis, Tom is finally at peace. His spirit and memory will live on in the love and laughter of his surviving family. Son-Andrew (Angie) and their 3 children-Max, Oliver, and Addy. Daughter-Erin (Michael), and Sisters-Sue and Carol. He is preceded in death by his loving Mother, Jane Carter and his Father, Edward Carter.

A celebration of Tom's life will be held on Friday, December 5th at 5pm with a gathering before starting at 4pm.
