I grew up 2 houses down from the Krueger's on Thomson Road. He was much closer to Les Holt than to me as kids but the three of us banded together fairly often in our early high school years. Bill tried his hardest to compete with Les' wresting success. I remember him as someone that could make you laugh a lot. We'd often walk down to the Dairy Queen for lunch in those days. Me, being as skinny as all get out would eat all the ice cream I could. Bill and Les would eat little or nothing then make themselves throw it all up in order to make wrestling weight. It's sad that he is not with us today.

Billy was the best friend I've ever had. We did so much together and I'll never forget those memories. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him. Bill made a huge impact on my life and I wish he was still with us today.
