Deborah Jo “Debbie” Lidecker, 54, of Mishawaka, Ind. and former longtime resident of Niles, died Monday, March 7, 2011 in Lakeville, Ind. unexpectedly but of natural causes.

She was born May 2, 1956 in South Bend, Ind. to Arthur Stanley and Annie Ruth (Howell) Lidecker. She graduated from Niles High School in 1974 and lived in Niles most of her life, moving to Mishawaka six years ago.

Debbie was employed as an office manager for Big C Lumber and for Wickes Lumber for many years, and was most recently working in the offices of Scott’s Lawn Service.

Surviving family includes her children, Kevin (Jennifer) Valade of Boca Raton, Fla., Thomas (Nicole) Gombosi of Kalamazoo, Mich., Nickolas (Cindy) Valade of Spring Hill, Tenn. and Dustin (Elesha) Valade of Niles; grandchildren, Aaden Valade, Hunter, Nolan and Morgan Gombosi, Caitlyn and Bailey Valade and Autumn, Alexis, Chase, Devin and Jaden Valade; and Debbie’s brothers, James Michael (Delphine) Everett of Granger, Ind. and John Lidecker of Niles.

I had the chance to talk with Debbie alot the last year I will truely miss her.
