Marie passed away May 30, 2001 from cancer. Marie attended Ferris State University and Grand Valley State College where she majored in political science. She leaves behind 2 sons to cherish her memory.
Marie and I were friends from grade school through out high school, we had some fun times. Marie was always quiet but was a very lovely person. Her brother is actually my brother in law, so I was able to stay in contact with Marie and see her and her family on occasion. Marie will always be missed and loved for her gentle loving spirit. I remember Marie very fondly. As a matter of fact, Marie was on the top of my list of inquiries as to her whereabouts. I had heard she had passed away, but no one was able to confirm it. I remember Marie had a great sense of humor and she and I would joke back and forth a lot. Marie was a good friend. Rest in Peace, friend.
I remember Marie and that infectious laugh she had. Yes, she was quiet, a kind gentle soul, but that smile of hers went on for miles. She had a tremendous sense of humor and yes, this world is definitely a darker place without her smile.
