Judith B. Moore, 87, of Buchanan, Michigan died Feb. 6, 1997 at Regency Place Nursing Home, South Bend, Indiana of natural causes.

 

She was born April 11, 1911 in Chicago.

 

On May 22, 1937, in Chicago, she married Paul J. Moore who survives. Mrs. Moore retired from Niles Community Schools in 1976 after 25 years as a teacher.

 

She was a founding member of the Michigan Classical conference. She was also a member of the Women’s Art League of the South Bend Regional Museum of Art, Phi Beta Phi and the First Presbyterian Church of Buchanan.

 

Besides her husband, survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth S. McLean of Niles, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
