Larry Lintz

Larry Lintz, 56 Sept. 22, 1955 – Nov. 12, 2011 Larry Lee Lintz, 56, of Kenilworth Road in South Bend and formerly of Niles, died at 4 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at his home unexpectedly, but of natural causes. Mr. Lintz was born Sept. 11, 1955, in Niles to Everett Emery and Marion Roberta (McBain) Lintz. He attended Niles Community Schools and lived in Niles most of his life. He owned and operated Lintz Towing Service. Larry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attending the demolition derby. On Sept. 12, 1986 in Niles, he married the former Joyce Elaine Graves, who survives. Surviving family also includes their children, Kerri (Michael) Scarberry of White Pigeon, Amy Spencer and Laura (Seth) England of Maryville, Tenn., Kristie (Michael) Douglas of Seymour, Tenn., Rachel Carpenter of Missouri and Larry Junior Carpenter; 13 grandchildren; siblings, Sally Lintz, Roseann McCord, Roger Lintz and Robert Lintz, all of Niles, Kathleen Russell of Elkhart, Ind., Marsha Hanyzewski of Berrien Springs, Martha Lintz, Thomas Lintz, James Lintz and Carol Hale, all of South Bend, Margaret Hough and Becky Hansen, both of Palm Bay, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Marion Lintz, and brothers, Everett and Terry Lintz.

Well, Larry, knew you better after school, while you were married to a good friend. I will always remember the fun times we had, your soft heart and compassion for others.  You will be missed by all
