I talked to my son Scott yesterday about 4 in the afternoon, which would have been midnight in Iraq. I asked him how his Independence Day went in Iraq and he said it "sucked". I didn't ask for details beyond that (moms don't do that). I do know moral is low because the days are usually about 130 and 100 at night. Add full gear to that and it's an exhausting environment to work in, that none of us can imagine. Keep all of our military in your prayers. His unit is one of the units staying behind in Iraq to train the locals and help keep the peace (if there is such a thing in a land where death is a privilege).
I would urge everyone to read our precious Constitution and then do EVERYTHING you can to help protect it against those in power that would want to alter or "change" it in any way! God bless all the men and women throughout our short history who have died or suffered to protect our Constitution, our rights, and our freedoms!

Hi everyone---Happy 4th of July weekend---my prayers for all who have someone in the military! May they stay safe!
I wanted you all to know I launched a new page called "Let's do business". This is where I can highlight a classmates business and website so hopefully, we can all be their customers. If you have something to highlight here, just email me. Thanks.
GOD bless all of us. God bless the USA, and may we be as free next year as we are today!!!
P.S. If you have NOT checked out Pat Prestines webpage, you best do so, so you will be in the know what the buz is humming in the air.............wowow
I think we should all post shots like Pat posted......think about the gossip that would create...nyuk nyuk nyuk. I'll do it, but I gotta first find my hat. Why don't u go next, Sue ?
Oh no Don, since it's your idea, YOU go first!! Maybe a one like Pat's with your motorcycle helmet?? Oh unless you don't wear a helmet, in that case we could get the ratings on here up'd to x?!!!!

Happy Independence Day to all us Great Americans! Loved your notes and comments and Sue - I wish I would have known about your TEA Party...would have driven to wherever you were being heard and seen! Couldn't agree more that we have to do all we can to save our Constitution - as it was written, not interpreted. Just came back from Chicago area and a Hispanic soccer tournament working at an Amway sponsored booth with product samples and free t-shirts for taking a survey. Hundreds upon hundreds all speaking another language - but ALL proud and happy to be in America with a chance to make a better life - not be 'given' a handout (spelled b-a-i-l-o-u-t). Also had the chance to take the greenline downtown to meet Deb...just in time to see or hear the finale of fireworks in Grant Park! What a sea of people - all there to enjoy being free to come and go and pursue happiness. Have a great July! Get your invites to Mayor Tom and order your 'legendary' t-shirts!!
Cheryl - Regarding Pat, maybe he had to get a refill in his tinkle can. He did not get away fast enough before I copy and saved that picture!!! Maybe as a newbee, he accidently deleted himself.
NOTICE*** Class of 75 has their preliminary Reunion website started (yikes there is a lot of work to do) however; we are up for the challenge. Our reunion is August 6, 7 8, 2010. More news later as it develops.
The girls all want a really, really small can, Pat. Perhaps something you could hold to the left of your groin area, while still facing towards the camera... "Schaaazaammm" I says to myself!
Hey, speaking of Pat's privates... how about for our next class reunion fund raiser, having all the ladies from the class of 74, do one of those middle-aged nude calendars that covers up all the "ooh-la-la" parts and pieces, but still shows enough raw skin to be considered "in the buff"! Why, we could put Niles, MI on the maps, ladies! Whose up for the challenge?
Sue, I think the term is "Schwing"..... The calender sounds like a good idea, but I don't know if you'll get many takers, as far as girls in our class wanting to pose. Maybe we can re-touch the fotos. The C.U. girls hockey team did a swim suit calender last year for a fund raiser, had 500 of them made up and sold out in less than a day. But, of course, we're talking about late teen and early 20 year old girls
OOOOOH OOOOOOHHHHH DON what did you say now awwwwwww you are in trouble now heheheheh I think class of 74 ladies sell out in an hour just do it ladies.
