Thanks so much to all for the Bday wishes received ... I spent the weekend in NC visiting my boys at Elon University ... GREAT weekend of friends, fun,  food, and football (and a beer or two playing "Beer Pong" HA!) ... my guys also threw a surprise party in their dorm for their "old man" ... they touched my heart with this one!

Sad news to report...Brenda Baer passed away in Wisconsin after an illness...her obit was in the South Bend Tribune today. Condolences to her family.

OMGoodness - her mom Shirley, stepdad Harold and Brenda all within such a short time. Makes no sense at all. Thank you Linda for the notice. It was very nice to have had the chance to reconnect with Brenda using the site before Shirley's funeral. Talking with her there in Niles she seemed settled and happy. Was great to see since there had been so many ups and downs since the crazy teenage years.

The love, prayers and support I received from my fellow classmates of 1974 over these past six months has been overwhelming, absolutely incredible, and a huge source of strength for me.  While words can not begin to express how much this has touched my heart, I wanted to take a few minutes to say thank you to each and every one of you.  As I continue to work through my grief, I know one thing for certain...I am surrounded by friends.  I am truly blessed!  I love you all!!!
