Hey, anybody out there besides Kat, Jim and Steve?  Post, post, post!!!  Where's the chatter?  Darn Facebook!!!  Come on now Class of '74...let's get this site kicking again!!!

"What are your thoughts on as many of us as possible getting together over the summer this year?  Perhaps a day at Tower Hill...beach and barbeque?  Just thinking it would be kind of nice to do something in between the long stretch to the next reunion.  Just a thought...but it doesn't have to be just a thought...we can make somthing happen!  What say you???"

I am in for almost anything doing with seeing friends, eating and drinking.  When this group gets together it is always a good time.  Like the new Bud-Light adds "Let's Do It"

I'll be there, virtually in spirit. Take me along on your Interactive Portable Communication Device, IPCD. I'll be like Captain Pike, in the original Star Trek pilot. Pike was the pilot on the pilot. Anyway, he got hit by J rays or some damn thing, and they had to cart him around on what looked like a zamboni. He had an advanced communication device, which allowed him to beep once for yes, twice for no. In my case, It'll be once for more beer? and twice for more beer?

Happy Valentines Day to all!!

It was so nice today, we found the grill under all the snow and grilled steaks.  Was fantastic!!

I guess the "74 vibes were working.....I just happen to think about all of you and look the communication has started up again.

Been having a Wonderful Winter.....skiing has been the best in Southwest Michigan it's been in many years.  Real snow, not just that "Man-made" stuff.  Ski almost every weekend with my 4 grandsons.  Keeping me young, or broken!!

Kat....you sound great!  Glad your having such a great time.

The summer thing, I'm in....let's just make alternate plans this time to accomadate for what Mother-nature hands out that day.

Well, there are some lively ones out there still!  The thought of this summer is a great one Faith -- it rained on our parade last year but it won't happen twice.  Let's plan for when there's something going on in town too. Music by the river sort of thing -- that happens downtown, right?

Faith D. Mitchell (Biggs)

Jim - You are always with us!!!  BTW..."three times on the ceiling means you'll meet me in the hallway and twice on the pipes means the answer is no"...but then, after a few who cares?  Ha Ha! (referencing your 2/12 post)

Debbie - It will be great catching up this summer!  We definitely need a backup plan in case it rains!!!  Jealous about the skiing.  I haven't been on the slopes since I moved to Florida; not because I moved to Florida, but because I sold my old skis before I moved...with the intention of buying a new pair.  For some reason that NEVER works!!!  One day, I will get on the slopes again!  I do keep busy with my grandkids; that does keep me young!

Tom - You are so funny!  I want to see you in your 70's gear...cool!  I remember when I used to tie die my clothes back in the late 60s/early 70s...seems soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long ago...ouch...it was, wasn't it :-(

Karen - Glad to see you join the conversation!  I love the idea of planning our get together at a time when something is going on down at Riverfront.  Love Riverfront!  What a great addition to Niles!   I've caught several events at Riverfront in my travels back to Niles and enjoyed them all!

Maybe we can head up to Tower Hill during the day and hang out at Riverfront at night.  Or, if Tower Hill doesn't tickle everyone's fancy then maybe a barbeque at Riverfront along with whatever festivities.

Love to hear everyone's thoughts.  Time to start planning!  Summer will be here before you know it!!!

Remember that song "I Can't Drive 55?" How about "I Can't Live 55?" I'll be turning double-nickle next month, is why I bring this up. So what do you think? Is 55 a speed limit or an age limit or not a good idea for a song? "Back in the Summer of 55" doesn't work for various reasons, sorry Brian Adams.

One foot on the brakes, one foot on the floor...

Faith if you ever get this way in the Winter, let me know.  I can get you ski, poles, etc and passes for the day.  We have everything in spades for all sizes!!  My son is flying home tomorrow from Fort Lauderdale where he lives for our Year End Winter-fest at the hill.  Can't wait, I still miss him alot, no matter how old they get.

Don't worry Jim, i'm turning 56 this year and I made it ! your mind comes in play, so since I never matured mine, i'm in great shape !! Think young son!

Hi, Everyone--

If you're interested in hearing some carillon (BIG bell!) concerts, from towers--(those who attended MSU or UofM heard them daily, I imagine)...

I'll be performing in Springfield, Missouri: May 15, 7 p.m.

And, later in the summer, the first week in August, I'll be performing in New York: in Albany, Rochester, Williamsville, and nearby in Erie, Pennsylvania.

If you're in the area, do check out the recital schedules...or if you want more specifics, just let me know and I'll be happy to get them to you.

Looking forward to a bit of spring (although we may have yet one more snow-storm...tomorrow?)....

Sharon, if it's Spring you want, I suggest the Western Hemisphere...

...or the Tropics. Already late summer in the Southern Hemisphere.

And we thought all that stuff in geography about hemispheres would never come in handy! Look at me now, Mr. Houser! Oh, that was Western Civ. But now I recognize that as a hemisphere! Whoo-hoo!!

Now, it's my duty to advise all you not here now, there is a cyber fire minimum occupancy requirement, and I'll have to fine you for the violation. No worries, though: email me a blank check, I'll fill in the amount!
