Bill, my nephew was stationed in Norfolk for a while. He was also in subs. Something to do with nuclear propulsion..?? After he did his stint there they sent him to NORAD in the mountain down by Colorado Springs. There ain't no large bodys of water down there...

Bill Lary Well there are exceptions, "nukes" (nuclear trained folks) and those "intel weenies" (intelligence folks), get sent to out of the way places, like BFE, CO, NY (up state) and even AZ...so be vewy, vewy afwaid....

NEVER MIND!!! I figured it out, it seems as though you can only "post" pictures that are stored somewhere other than your own computer...

This is a friend of mine Gary "Cowboy" Maclaughlin and me at a subvet function in Groton, CT, circa 2002-2005, a kinder, gentler, meaner (when he needed to be) man I never knew, I only wish that we could have gone to sea together...

Bill Lary Don, I was single for my first 5 years in the Navy, "I" survived as did everyone around me (and one day at a reunion or a golf game, I'll tell a little "sea story" or two or three or ... to let some skeletons out of the closet) '74-'79 what a ride, oh the stories...
