For those of you emailing Jill Pridavka, your emails are bouncing back undeliverable. I have posted a comment on her profile to have her double-check the accuracy of her email address in the system....just wanted to let you know your emails aren't going through right now. Wendy

If your not going to do the wet T, then neither am I.
Maybe not a good idea after all. Thinking it may not raise any money to help the cause, unless they pay us NOT to do the wet T! HAHAHAHAHA
That and not having the "spray bottle" why waste good beer?!

Maybe you are in his room? Mr. Rzeunet, science. I know the spelling isn't right, sorry. Mr. Yomtoob. Gretchen Stamp was the PE teacher, married to Dennis Stamp, who taught at the high school and is now deceased..There's a few to work on..Have a great time in Mexico.Have a drink for me.

Pam & Steph- not sure yet about the wet-T but I will work for shots!
Bev - I will get working on that list. Some of the names sound familiar but I went to Ballard. Would that music teacher's name have been Gail that married a Terry by any chance? For some reason, Gail popped into my head???

Beverly Finney (Geist)

Tom, you are so good. I did like Mr. Pilarski, he was fun too. I thought of another one. Mr. Dennison, geography. I never had him. Does anyone remember the french teacher who always smelt like dead fish? That was horrible. Can we say feminine hygiene..? Miss Yonkers was my home room teacher. Mr. Heger the Asst principal, he was HOT... YOu might not of thought so Tom...

I'm curious, ladies-- could the lack of female mathmaticians amongst you be somehow related to the lack of positive roll models in high school? Based on Betty Yonkers and Phillis Kane, a girl might get the idea that studying math was a one way ticket to spinsterhood?
Now, Cheryl was obviously positively influenced (like an electron) by Mrs. Biek! Way to go, Cheryl!

Ok everybody, I know the scoop about Mrs.Snyder and Jeannie Oswalt, music teachers at the junior high schools! The reason I know is because they lived next door to me when I was still attending St.Mary's. I used to go over there before school and feed their dog, Buttons. Well, actually it was Jeannie's dog, Gail hated the thing. Anyhow, Miss Bonham/Snyder moved back to Arkansas and Jeannie wanted to stay at Ballard so she moved in with me and my parents for a good year or two. Gail had already had flames going with Terry Snyder, they ended up marrying and living in Arkansas. Jeannie was like a sister to me and I am still in touch with her. On the other side of our house was my father's childhood home which they rented out to Dennis Stamp, Jim Ehle, and Ryan Overbeek who were all teachers in Niles at some point. I was in 5th or 6th grade at that time. After we all graduated, Pat Prestine lived in my grandparents house for a while also. I can't remember if my folks still owned it or not when Pat was there. So that is the story of the music teachers and the other guys who taught in Niles. Thought you might be interested!

I don't think he knew who was there or who wasn't. He wasn't that good of a teacher though he knew how to speak French.

03/27/09 02:23 PM #956

Don Nugent

I guess so, with a name like "Pinchot", maybe he just didn't give "pinch" who was there and who wasn't

Linda Behm

I think he was French and was looking for someone to marry to get his citizenship. Weird!
