Bruce- Are you volunteerning to join the guys on the Class of 74 male pole dancing review???? If you are nice to Don and Bill they might give you some pointers. Or ask Steve he is (was) a close and personal friend of the Original Fast Freddy!! Tom might also have a shimmy wiggle or two to add!!! Vance said he might if we fill him with lots of long islands. For a small fee, we might even tell you mom!! But she looks like she is the fiesty one and maybe could give them some advice!! Glad she is doing so well.

Steph, us old guys would do alot better on "the pole" if u gals would apply some grease on "the Pole", er is it already slippery

Jim Lanier

Bruce, we'll let you do a special "walker dance" instead of a pole dance. You put your left wheel in, you take your left wheel out...

How about if we all try to dance with our elbows on the bar..???

Humm this to the mulberry bush rhyme:

Here we go 'round the dancing pole,
The dancing pole the dancing pole.
Here we go 'round the dancing pole,
So early in the Evening.

This is the way have our fun have our fun,
have our fun, have our fun
This is the way we have our fun,
So early in the morning.

This is why we are from Niles High
Niles High, Niles High
This is why we are from Niles High,
So early the next morning.

This is the way we take off our clothes,
that is all I’m singing.

Well, Vance,

We'll likely go through our own withdrawal of your posts! Have fun on your time away...and maybe you can even give JL a run for his ?money? on creating lyrics, or coming up with ways to fund his next endeavor .

You'll be missed, but we'll try to keep the posts moving along...

Sue B-F: Perhaps you ought to write a new NHS fight song?!

Ok, I wrote this by request:

Don, Steve, Jim and Vance,
Told us they would do the Niles pole dance.
Pam and Kat and Stephie too,
Said they would do it if you just don’t boo.
Bruce and Jim said you could see,
If you agree to pay a nominal fee.

Don’t know how this subject started,
Nor can I say if bodies will be bartered,
Fast Freddie did this as we all know,
To him we say that’s the way to make dough.

It remains to be seen who grabs the pole.
But fun for all is the evening goal.
Cheers to you who does this for us,
We’ll all travel there by car, plane and bus.

"I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in" Kenny Rogers and the 1st Edition. They appeared on the old Smothers Brothers show or the summer replacement, the Glenn Cambell Goodtime Hour.

I figured I had to give you folks some point of reference so you wouldn't think I was a complete dotering old fool.

hey Tom: do you like my poems?

Suellen Etzcorn (Foster)

Not to change the subject, but how bout those 'Spartans' last night?!! Now, I know some of you people on the west coast, or on the east coast or up in a mountain or way down in a valley... may not think having a winning team in the NCAA finals is a big deal, but for those of us still in Michigan, which has very little going for it right now... WHOOP! Sorry, there was no pole dancing at the half, but where I was... a lot of Petron' shots! If you have any midwestern blood still in your veins (green blood) then how about a "shout-out" for a Michigan team performing extremely well! GO GREEN!

Susan - great 'poems' -- who has the fight song words? Shamefully I cannot bring them into my 50+ year brain. Too much other stuff in there I guess, please help me recall the words.

I also like the images of elbow dancing at the bar. Can we however plan on some real dancing on the floor?

Susan R-J - I fully plan on you leading the way with Chicago Walk and whatever else you come up with. You were the teacher Supreme (yes there's a pun there) in the hallway before the dances at Ballard.

My husband wants details on the VW prank and I cannot answer his questions:
Were there any legal reprocutions (sp?)to the doers?
How was it removed? Let alone get there?
How long did it stay in the courtyard?
Thanks much for your responses!

Karen, what would be really interesting is if anyone knows any of the police that were involved that nite and to get there side of the story. Maybe Dick Crocker can shed some lite on that subject..??

Craig,Karen Sue- I am glad to see Michigan with a win. I hope they go all the way to the National Champs!! I mean that in the honest way, but with a method to my madness!! If they do that in basketball, then maybe my Irish can come back in football and show them the opposite end of the score board!! It's time for the Irish to come back after a longgggggggggg time of loosing!!Who ever your favorite team is, basketball or football it is just a matter of personal likes if we all liked the same team life would certainly be boring, and we all know nothing is boring on here!! Re:Dancing in the un pole way at the reunion, oh yeah!! I for one have the coordination of two left feet turned backwards, but as long as the alcohol keeps flowing, John Travolta you found a new partner! Have to admit tho, the sight of our guys singing and doing the "older" version of Fast Freddy dancing brings a smile and giggle to the brain!! As for my pole dancing, UGH!!!! There had better be lots of alcohol for others or I might get tomatoes thrown at me. That or my hubby coming and dragging me home like a cave girl!!!Sue-Love the poem concerning the pole, keep em coming!!

Steve let me know that no one was arrested - whew! But yes, it would be great to know what the cops thought. I betcha they were rather impressed and even silently wished they'd thought of that themselves "in their day"!

It seems a little clarification is in order here..(Cliff Claven voice) The basketball team playing for the national NCAA men's championship in basketball is Michigan STATE! Yes, there are two Big Ten Universities in the state of Michigan. The good one wears green and white, the other wears...aww who the hell cares anyway.

GO SPARTANS!

Don, I don't recall if there were any legal or police type consequences to our prank. My Dad was retired from the police force at that time.

As for this "left coaster," I can say with some pride and hardly any hypocracy, GO SPARTANS!!! And not just because my wife is a little crazy about that film "The 300." At first, I thought that was about a Chrysler...
but I digress. It happens that MSU is one of my almas mater. I love telling people I went to three of the Big 10. Sounds better than "kicked out of 2 of the 3!"
Anyway, I was very happy to see the guys in green open up a can o' whoop ass on U Con!!! And with my expertice (I've seen parts of two college basketball games this year; the other was N.Carolina last week), I will go out on a limb and predict State will win. They were inspired!

Whoops to all I offended with my Michigan comment!! Sorry Dick. Thanks for the correction. It seems in my old fart mind when I say Michigan I don't split the 2 teams apart, being a Domer fan it is a technical detail!! I know I know alot of you are thinking why do you live in Michigan and are such a fan of the Irish?? I have and never ever remember not being a fan, starting when I was to young to know the difference. As I said before it would'nt be any fun if we all like the same teams, how else we would enjoy the rival bets between the 2 teams?? I have ate alot of crow the last few years and have learned to not run my big mouth quite as much, but still enjoy a good hearted bet between the 2 teams.
