Yes, I am already planning on going to tower hill..
I was so excited to show my new husband Tower Hill... the parking lots were filled, all of them filled, with RVs full of migrant workers...

Whats up with that? I was sort of embarassed.

Linda, I know how this is gonna sound, but my yoga teacher's mom lives in Santa Barbara, and she's down there visiting for Mother's Day. I hope they're not in a shelter.
I bet Kat can smell the smoke, though?? That's pretty much the smell of summer in my neck of the foothills.

Friday evening we have the River Front Cafe rented up stairs.....

Saturday Evening is the "reunion"......

We could go to Tower Hill FriDAY before the River Front Cafe, or SaturDAY before the Rockin in the 70's, ...

OR.............. wait for it..................

We can go after the reunion! We can all drive over to Tower Hill, (Or should we rent limos?) with tents of course, and spend the night there!! We can also lie to our kids about where we spent the night, like we lied to our parents in 1974.

Anyone got an RV?

Tom, Rex here are you going to rent a wig so you will look like you did in 74, because your the one that said everyone should try to dress and look as they did in 74. I have to say I'm trying to do my part I have been letting my hair grow when I what the party was going to be. Well actually I've been letting it grow from last sept. It's getting pretty long almost as long as in my senior pic. The only thing I can't seem to do is get rid of the pounds that seemed to attach there self to me as the age did. I know its been so long since I last saw you maybe 2-3 weeks but with all that your doing along with everyone else I want to thak you for helping to bring us all back together again. With all that has been said so far I want to say THANK YOU and for all that are helping you. See you soon . Rex

Tom I forgot to say in my last message that this was a bit off the subject but you know when you have a thought if you don't say it or write it down you sometimes forget it. Also is everyone invited to the party at the cafe' and is it the night before the reunion? Let me know I'd like to come to try to catch up with a few and try to remember , and see if I might beable to reconize??? any one sorry for the spelling. Also did you by chance find my old girlfriend from school, she has not come to any of or reunions yet , Kathy R. Fencl, or as some called her big red.

Thanks for the update Jim on who would be affected by the fires. It is a terrible thing for anyone but I would also hate for one of my classmates to have to go through it. I guess it is a hazard of living out there. Keep your house wet!

I should post the pictures of the fires we had here a couple of years ago! I told myself if they ever let us out of here I will never come back, they were about 2 blocks from our back yard and the cul-de-sac was pitch black at noon. One of my machines was fire (ash) damaged and we had to tear out all of the carpet. Frightening.
Yes JL I can smell the fire. The winds died down a couple days ago. We worry about flying ashes, wich are tree limbs ect.
Happy Mother's Day. Thanks Stephie

Rex- Kathy was a salesperson for a paper co. in Chicago, she came down to the paper mill to visit, I was told to show her around- I would not call her "big Red" anymore, she was quite thin!
