Steve, yes, this is our one day of sun all year, everybody crawls under a rock or performs some sort of sacrifice to the Rain God to make it go away. Can you say SPF 1,500?

As a matter of fact, I do have my own cot down at the Sherrif's lock up. We keep the key ring on a nail on the wall just outside my cell so I can let myself come and go. By the way, isn't it about time for one of Aunt Bea's pies? I'm gettin powerful hongry!

If Helen did'nt drink then why was she dancing on tables? I think she stole some moonshine from Otis!

Helen (the actress who played Helen anyway) was Steve McQueen's girlfriend in the original movie "The Blob".

05/16/09 08:25 PM #2095

Linda Behm

she's not like the teacher in elkhart that had a meth lab in her home/car

05/16/09 08:25 PM #2096

Linda Behm

now your calling helen a BLOB!

05/16/09 08:26 PM #2097

Steve Merica

Now you know where your pies went!

05/16/09 08:27 PM #2098

Dick Crocker

I think Helen almost got swallowed up by the "Blob" but Steve McQueen saved her after she fell and twisted her ankle while running in high heels. How many times have we seen that cliche' in movies?

05/16/09 08:29 PM #2099

Dick Crocker

No pies? well how 'bout some of Aunt Bea's fried chicken & biscuits?

05/16/09 08:30 PM #2100

Steve Merica

Poodlehead, I know you did a stint at KFC in your younger days. What are the 11 secret herbs and spices? Did the herbs come from Columbia? Is that why the Colonel always had that silly grin on his face?

05/16/09 08:33 PM #2102

Linda Behm

Very good question, Chief!

05/16/09 08:34 PM #2103

Steve Merica

Columbia, Panama, Mexico, home grown etc.

Previously, somebody mentioned Womack's drive in. How many of us worked there at one time or another? I can remember Dennis Boller, Rex Carpenter, Debbie Curtis, Mindy Burge, Pete Payne, Ray Conners(?) Who else worked there?
