I miss Michigan, but am glad to call Northern AZ my home now! I love the mountains and the serenity the beautiful country brings! Where else can you see a herd of elk on your way to work?? Or see a sunrise over majestic mountaintops?? Where I live is not the typical AZ desert. I live at 7,000 feet elevation and we get all 4 seasons with snow and cold temps just like Mich. does. Our summers are very mild with temps never going above 85 degrees and with very low humidity!! Since living here, I've never had to turn on the air conditioner! I have three adult handicapped children at home. My husband's job is to care for them while I teach Kindergarten/First Grade at a small rual school. I love teaching and wish I had discovered this love many years ago!! Prior to teaching, I was a R.N. and became very discouraged! I decided to go back to school to become a teacher, and the rest is history as they say!! My oldest daughter is obtaining her doctorate in Sp. Education at the Univ. of Texas. No grandchildren as of yet!! (Still hoping!!) I am loving life and loving what the Lord has blessed me with!!
