I am thankful that the tornados bypassed us.

Also, Tom Houseman and Margie Vanderwater Houseman were in Europe at the time.

They are safe--and--the Moore tornado was southeast from where they reside.

I've not checked to see who else lives in this area...If you're wanting to help, probably the best thing is monetary donations to Red Cross or other disaster response agencies. I'm sure there are listings of them (Salvation Army, etc)...online.

Glad to know "party planning" is beginning! Count me in to help this year! Unbelievable that its #40?!?!

Was in town last weekend and will be back the 14th and 21st but can't swing this weekend too. Can we set up a timeline of meeting dates so out of towners can plan ahead? Thx!

Here's an idea -- when we think of 'fun' stuff to do either the day before or day after even, let's consider area 'adventures' like what's found on many sites in our area --

Were we still thinking of inviting the year before / after? Know that was mentioned before.

I'll be in Detroit area on 9/21 to visit with Meg and Brenda-----so I'll miss this meeting.  Maybe to accommodate out of towners in the future, we can set up a conference call for meetings so it is easier for us to participate without a lot of driving......does East Main Gardens have a speaker phone? 

Also, I am still working on the paypal donation button----I promise to get it resolved.  Tom, I left you a message on this today.  Also I assume we need to plan fundraisers as well as reunion details.  Any ideas for good fundraisers?

Ideas for reunion---When is homecoming 2014?  October?  Maybe that is an option for a class activity with the reunion in the evening.....maybe at the school?   Summer is so busy for everyone--maybe fall is better time?  I welcome comments.

Please update your profiles with new pictures and bio information so we can get back up to speed now that a reunion is approaching.  Let me know if you have contact information for classmates who have not yet activated their profiles.  I'd love to get more than 60% of our classmates on line with us.  We are at 52% right now.
