Dave F passed aways in Carson City, Nv on February 29th.

The obit was very brief. I'd like to think that Dave went out doing some sort of the adventures he had come to love during his time in Carson City. RIP - Dave.

Very sorry to hear of Dave's passing -- but as has been said, and in review again of his profile, he sure did seem to enjoy life and did have a full one. He certainly was a good person - very kind is my memory of Dave. Peace be with him and his family and friends.

I was watching a Steve McQueen movie the other night, "Junior Bonner." I thought it was about Tom Bonner, but no, this was about a rodeo rider. It was made in the early 70's, I would guess, filmed in Prescott AZ. They used locals for extras, and a lot of them: there was a parade, there was a bar fight. The thing that really shocked me was, you could not find a fat person in any of the shots! Try remaking that film now! Kinda sad, seeing what fast food has done to this country.

Jim...or, it could be bad parenting. Feeding children the crap that poison's their systems and becomes addictive. I guess there are a lot of reasons why obesity is a BIG problem in our society and no clear cut answers to the solution. Just my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

JL you are cracking me up!!!  First of all I would think who cares!?  I came on to the 74 to show a friend some old pictures on my page and there you are mentioning my name? TOOOOO FUNNNNY!

When I moved back to Michigan it was to care for my 93 year old Aunt on our family farm. Sadly we put her in an assisted living home and as traumatic that was for all of us she is near her daughter and grand kids now so she is well and I talk with her weekly.

I chose to stay in the mid-west and moved to Mo where I have some dear friends.  I am in St. Louis now and hope to stay here for good.  I LOVE it here.  I am head tailor for the top bridal company in STL. (we also have a Chicago location and 22 tux shops scattered around) I am doing the wedding gowns, not the maids. Intense. We are moving to a new designer Salon this very weekend! I will post photo's next month. I also have two freelance accounts doing design for local manufacturer's.  I just found a kick ass apartment two blocks from work and love having a sense of a real downtown community that I can walk to everything I need, wave and say hi to my neighbors.

I have a business partner here and we are setting up a wherehouse for production. I predict the end of the year when the bridal settles down.

Kat - You do know that the "reverse" dust bowl folks were only suppose to go back to Oklahoma? Looks like you jumped one too many states - and almost two since Illinios is in the shadow of the arch. Hope this doesn't mean you're now a Cardinal fan - there are  way too many of them! Enjoy STL - I know I did when I worked there - then again it may be because I got to come home to OK on the weekends.

Tom, I honestly did not understand the first sentance!  I am still getting acclimated to everyones "puns",,jumping states, dust bowl, raising the IQ in MO!! Missery, the whole thing.  I guess I am far too serious about things and have been on the west coastline for so long, we do not get into that sort of thing there. My business partner is here.  I see it as the heart of the country and so far so good here for me so here I sit.  Chicago was easy to surpass for me...been there done that sort of thing. Love Love the City though, my family is from there and I went there once a month for the two years I was back in Mi caretaking. One of my favorite Cities

Cardinals??? I may have to get into it!!!  It is huge here. I was down town Sunday (at the top of the Manision pool overlooking the entire city 360 degrees) but intermingled with a whole lot of fans down town getting ready to go to the game!  This is a very fun city and people are so welcoming.

Thanks for the good wishes, moving even though positive is STILL stressful.
